Rates

Pet sitting rates:

We try to make our rates very competitive and easy to read. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our rates are as follows:

Daily Dog Walking/In Home Pet-Sitting Visits: (For up to 2 pets):

  • 10 minutes - $11 (Minimum of 2 visits per day)
  • 20 minutes - $14
  • 30 minutes - $17
  • Each additional 10 minutes - $5
  • Each additional pet - $2
  • Holidays - Additional $5 per visit (Includes Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.  Additional $10 per visit on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day)
  • Out-of-Area Surcharge - $5 per visit (Regular service area includes most Ann Arbor addresses- remote areas of Ann Arbor may also incur service charge)

Please note: The first ever vacation visit for dogs is a minimum 30-minute visit.  Rates as of July 1, 2009 and are subject to change at any time.

Cancellation/Reservation Policy:

For daily dog-walking service:  No charge for visit if cancelled by 5pm the day before the scheduled visit.  1/2 charge applies for cancellations made after 5pm the day before or for same-day cancellations.  Full charge will apply  if Pet 'N Play shows up for a visit and is not needed, or if already on their way when the cancellation is made.  No charge for cancellation due to an emergency. 

Reservations:  Requests for service made after 5pm the day before, or made on the same day, will incur a $5 charge.  Please note that these last minute requests are not guaranteed, and the time slot requested may also not be available.  Of course, the more notice you give, the more likely your request will be accommodated.     

For vacation service:  No charge if scheduled service is cancelled 7 or more days in advance, or due to an emergency.  There is a $30 charge for service cancelled less than 7 days in advance.  No charge for cancellation due to an emergency.

PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!  Make your requests for service in advance!  We want to ensure we can fit your pet into our schedule.  It is never too early to make a request!  But it could be too late!

Pet Taxi and Personal Errand Service:

  • $20 for the first 30 minutes plus $.50/mile (first 5 miles free)
  • $5 for each additional 10 minutes

Additional Fees:

  • Copy of key - $5
  • Key drop-off or pick-up - $10
  • Emergencies (vet visit, lock-out, etc.) - $30 per event
  • Returned check fee - $30

Discounts:

  • Frequent Walker Discount: Schedule 3 or more days per week for two or more consecutive weeks, and get $1 OFF per visit.
  • Refer a friend and receive a free 20-minute pet-sitting visit.  (Referral must purchase at least one visit).
