Katy Fritts, co-owner of Pet 'N Play, is a lifelong animal lover and Ann Arbor resident. Katy has been a volunteer with Neighborhood Senior Services for 11 years. She received her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Eastern Michigan University in 2002. After a 5 year career in banking, she returned to school and took several vet tech classes at Baker College in Jackson. Following that, she worked at a local boarding/dog daycare facility. Katy has been certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid.
John Steck, co-owner of Pet 'N Play, is also a lifelong animal lover and Ann Arbor resident. John co-owned and operated Mary Ridgway Sweets in downtown Ann Arbor from 1981-1988. John has a master's degree in accounting from Eastern Michigan University, and has been certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid. With their passion for animals and John's business experience, in October 2008, John and Katy decided to start up a professional pet-sitting and dog walking business together full-time.
Eric Wright is a musician and fellow animal lover. He plays the guitar and bass, has a liberal arts degree from Washtenaw Community College, and has worked at a local dog daycare/boarding facility. Eric also spent a summer working at a grooming facility. He currently has one dog, Gabby, a Pomeranian/Sheltie mix. Eric has been certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid.
Angie Sullivan is a fellow animal lover, avid runner and an Ann Arbor resident. She moved to Ann Arbor in 2003 for a position at the University of Michigan after finishing graduate school at Kansas State University (higher education administration). She currently works as a program administrator for a fellowship program at the University of Michigan Medical School. She has volunteered at the Humane Society of Huron Valley over the last few years in a variety of capacities such as cat comforter, foster parent, and at various special events. She has 4 cats of her own, Woody (farm kitty), MJ (stray), Sid and Enid (who were both adopted from HSHV). Angie has been certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid.
Monica Scott has been a registered nurse for 11 years, graduating from Washtenaw Community College in December of 2000. Monica has always been an animal lover and has owned a variety of pets throughout her life, including dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and reptiles. She and her family own 3 dogs including a Miniature Schnauzer named Kaiser, a mixed breed named Maya, and a Papillon named Joey (pictured here with her).
